In the summer of 2005, the pool system at Spring Lake Park was closed due to safety, economic, and liability concerns. The next year, the Texarkana, Texas City Council conducted an audit to determine the costs to repair and reopen the pool. The costs ranged from $1.4 million for minor repairs to the pool, all the way to $3.5 million for a completely new aquatic center. The pool remains closed to this day.
The Texarkana Rotary and Texarkana, Texas Parks Department have developed a new plan to bring family fun to Texarkana, USA.
And the most exciting part is, with your help, we can bring this one-of-a-kind attraction to Texarkana for only $400,000.

Make A Splash Today
With your support of a donation to the Splashpad, we can make this experience come to life. The City of Texarkana, Texas has agreed to build the Splashpad the moment we have secured enough commitments from our sponsors. This means the Splashpad will be able to be built sooner and you will not be required to make the entire donation at one time. The donation may be divided over the next three years, even after the Splashpad has been completed.
